This is my first year at SNTHS and it already feels like home! I have a
background in special education and taught high school English for over a decade
before I decided to go back to college to become a counselor. I love everything about
being a school counselor and I am passionate about helping students discover their
own fulfilling career paths. My goal as a counselor is to support students in all aspects
of their lives—academically, socially, and emotionally–as they navigate high school and
begin to develop post-secondary educational goals and career plans that combine their
unique talents and interests. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my
family, learning to cook new recipes (anything spicy is my favorite!), gardening, listening
to music, and reading books.
